PMIZ enters into partnership with SA counterpart

“The collaboration is anticipated to open doors for a common vision for regional collaborations in the development of the project management profession in Southern Africa,” he said.
The inaugural meeting between the two associations of project managers was hosted by PMSA at their offices in Johannesburg, South Africa last month.
Meanwhile, PMSA chairman Mr Pascal Mabelo is set to attend the second annual PMIZ Project Managers Dinner to be held in Harare on August 3.
On the other hand, PMIZ members will reciprocate with a trip to the bi-annual PMSA Congress to be held in South Africa between September 17 and 19.
Both PMSA and PMIZ are non-profit organisations that share similar missions that focus on the professional development of the project management profession through mentorship programmes, publications and promotion of the application of ethical project management methodologies in commerce and industry.
Mr Banda also said more collaboration aimed at mentoring project managers on both sides of the Limpopo are in the pipeline through a Memorandum of Understanding that the two organisations will sign soon.
PIMZ was established in 2009 and currently has slightly over 500 members while the PMSA was established in 1997 and has over 2 000 members.
