Police bust an illegal beverages company

TWO suspects operating an illegal beverage company in Waterfalls have been arrested.
The two are leading police with investigations to establish how they operated such a company without a licence.
The company operating as “Mauya Ginger Drink” had 65 employees.
National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the arrest urging company owners to respect government regulations before operating.
“Police have noted with concern the health risk facing people following the arrest of company owners operating without licences.
“As the Zimbabwe Republic Police, we are urging business operators to consider complying with government regulations to safeguard people’s health.
“Two suspects have been arrested and police have widen their investigations and more details will be released in due course,” said Comm Nyathi.
