Police identify two ECD Hartzell swimming pool victims

POLICE has identified the two Early Childhood Development (ECD) learners from Hartzell Central Primary School who drowned in a disused swimming pool at the school yesterday late afternoon.

When this news crew visited the institution today, a sombre atmosphere permeated the Old Mission community.

Reverend Lawrence Mwadiwa, the highest office at the United Methodist Church-run missionary institution on site, could not make a statement without consulting superiors.

However, acting Manicaland provincial police spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Wiseman Chinyoka confirmed the death of Devian Andrew Mungazi and Lovemore Tendedziso following the mishap.

Information gleaned by this publication revealed that the duo drowned in a disused pool.
