Kudakwashe Jarabini on Monday. Mr Jarabini remanded him in custody to October 19. Manitsi was advised to seek bail at the High Court.
According to indictment papers, on September 30 at the farm, Manitsi arrived home and found that his second wife Evelyn Bakasa was away.
Bakasa returned home late and Manitsi confronted her demanding to know where she had been.
She did not respond and this angered Manitsi who started beating her up. Bakasa fought back using a piece of wood.
As the scuffle intensified, Manitsi reportedly drew his Okapi knife and stabbed his wife on the right thigh.
His first wife Georgina Maninji came to restrain him by pushing him outside the hut as she attended to Bakasa.
Bakasa escaped from the room, but Manitsi followed and caught up with her and tripped her to the ground.
He allegedly continued punching and kicking her in the ribs and on the head, leading to her death.
