LOCAL firms that include cement producer PPC Zimbabwe Limited, Tainshi, ZFC and Peace Security are set to participate in next year’s chapter of the SADC Quality Awards after winning the National Quality Awards (NAQA).
The 5th edition of the NAQA was organised by the National Standards Quality Assurance Accreditation and Metrology (SQAM) Committee – currently led by Dr Eve Gadzikwa – whose secretariat in the Standards Association of Zimbabwe (SAZ).
NAQA’s awards cover five categories – the product of the year award, which was won by PPC; company of the year award (ZFC); service of the year (Peace Security); exporter of the year (Tainshi, a tobacco company).
