PRINCE MHARADZE, Director of Odyssey Entertainment, revealed that preparations for the upcoming Kadoma Music Festival are going smoothly.

This year’s edition of the Kadoma Music Festival is scheduled to take place at Odyssey Hotel in Kadoma on 14 October. According to Mharadze, the team is confident and well-prepared, having organised numerous events of a similar magnitude in the past.

One of the key highlights of this year’s festival is the availability of accommodation.

“Yes, there is still accommodation, and this time there is more accommodation than ever before. To cater to the needs of music lovers attending the festival, Odyssey Entertainment has introduced a campsite located just 200 meters from the festival venue. This initiative aims to provide affordable accommodation options for all attendees.

“We have introduced a campsite 200m from the festival venue, to provide affordable accommodation to all music lovers” said Mharadze.

Mharadze stressed that the festival is a true celebration of Zimbabwean music.

“This festival is really a celebration of Zimbabwean music, which is why we’ve called upon Zimbabwe’s three biggest artistes, Alick Macheso, Winky D, and Jah Prayzah. Additionally, we have also included two South African superstars, DJ Tira and Makhadzi who both have a strong connection to Zimbabwe and music” said Mharadze.

These artists have collaborated with numerous Zimbabwean musicians in the past, further enhancing the festival’s diverse musical offerings.

In addition to the main event, event organisers have also decided to organize a Golf Day on October 14. The Golf day provides an opportunity for festival goers to engage in a different kind of environment

“After a successful Golf day on the same day we hosted Koffi Olomide in April, and we have decided to have another Golf day on the 14 October “said Mharadze.
