President Mnangagwa is today expected to engage more than 10 000 children of veterans of Zimbabwe’s liberation struggle at a landmark interface in Harare, as the Government seeks to strengthen their participation in national development and empowerment initiatives.
The interface, being held at the Harare International Conference Centre under the theme “Veterans’ Children Safeguarding the Legacy and Advancing Vision 2030,” will focus on the role of the younger generation in carrying forward the legacy of the liberation struggle while contributing to Zimbabwe’s modernisation and industrialisation agenda.
The event is also expected to address youth empowerment, national governance and social challenges, including drug and substance abuse, with representatives from all provinces expected to attend.
