President expected to launch Culture Month

PRESIDENT Mnangagwa is expected to launch the National Culture Month at Kariyangwe Secondary School in Binga tomorrow.

Various dignitaries, including Cabinet Ministers, senior Government officials, traditional leaders and the EU Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Jobst Von Kirchmann, are expected to attend.

National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ) spokesperson, Rodney Ruwende, said:

“As we speak, different service providers, which include government departments, parastatals, State agencies and private companies are camped at Kariyangwe Secondary putting final touches to structures.

“Other services, which include the putting up of stages, tents for sitting and exhibitions and demarcations, are being finalised and should be ready today when we expect to have a sound check and rehearsals for the main performers.”
