President Mnangagwa leads family in final farewell to niece

President Mnangagwa is today expected to attend a memorial service for his niece, Shamiso, which is being held at the family homestead in Bikita, Masvingo Province.

The President, who is accompanied by First Lady Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa, is expected give his eulogy in remembrance of his niece.

Several people who include Government Ministers, Zanu PF Politburo members, business people, relatives and friends are already gathered at the homestead.

Various church denominations are also in attendance to pay their last respects.

Zanu PF has since conveyed its condolences to the First Family.

In a statement, Secretary-General Advocate Jacob Mudenda said the party stands in unwavering solidarity with the President and his family during this period of immense grief and bereavement.
