GWANDA-based teenage content creator and musician Mpendulo Sibanda, popularly known as Mpabanga Vines, is steadily making a name for himself in the entertainment industry after releasing four songs that showcase his versatility as an artiste.

The 17-year-old, who has built a strong following through his comedy skits on TikTok and Facebook, has expanded his music catalogue with the release of “We Mama“, “Ngcwele Ngcwele“, “Ngiyeza Kwabasekhaya“, and “Mawuphella“.

Speaking in an interview, Sibanda said the songs reflect different aspects of life, ranging from gratitude and faith to family and personal growth.

His latest single, “We Mama“, pays tribute to mothers and celebrates their unconditional love, sacrifice, strength and the values they instil in their children.

The gospel track “Ngcwele Ngcwele“, featuring Schlboy, focuses on worship, Jesus Christ’s sacrifice, salvation and gratitude, while “Ngiyeza Kwabasekhaya” tells the emotional story of someone returning home after leaving to pursue their dreams.

He also collaborated with Schlboy and 2myxtadey on “Mawuphella“, a song that further highlights his growing presence in the local music scene.

Known on TikTok as @Mpabanga_vines, Sibanda has amassed more than 14 500 followers and over 183 700 likes on the platform, while attracting about 19 000 followers on Facebook through his comedy content.

Sibanda said he intends to continue balancing content creation with music and hopes to inspire other young people to pursue their talents despite limited resources.

“I want my content and music to make people smile and show young people that where you come from should never limit your dreams. I hope to keep growing my brand in music, acting and comedy,” he said.
