President Mnangagwa has conferred degrees and certificates on 144 graduates during the 5th graduation ceremony of the Zimbabwe National Defence University.

This is a remarkable growth from the 102 graduates that were capped last year.

The ZNDU grew out of the National Defence College and in 2017 received university status, which led to it opening its doors to the public in 2021.

Its distinct features are that it offers competitive academic study options, in addition to serving as a national defence and security think-tank.

Among the graduates were students from various countries as part of fostering both regional and international cooperation in various areas.
