President Mnangagwa reappoints Cdes Chiwenga, Mohadi

President Mnangagwa, who was elected First Secretary of the ruling party ZANU PF on Friday, has re-appointed Cdes Constantino Chiwenga and Kembo Mohadi as Second Secretaries, while Cde Oppah-Muchinguri was also re-appointed as National Chairperson.

In line with the party’s constitution, President Mnangagwa similarly appointed 10 members of the Central Committee; four members of the Politburo, which is presently under restructure; and heads of both the War Veterans League and Women’s League.

Consultations are still ongoing to appoint Secretary of the Youth League.
