President mourns Pathisa Nyathi

President Mnangagwa has sent his condolences following the death of celebrated historian Cde Pathisa Nyathi.
Cde Nyathi died on Saturday.
“I received the sad news of the passing on this last Saturday of Cde Pathisa Nyathi with a very heavy heart, utter sense of shock and deep sorrow,” said President Mnangagwa.
“Only early this year, I assigned Cde Nyathi and Reverend Paul Damasane to document the heroic Pupu Battle of National Resistance against British colonial encroachment, and to trace the final journey of our late King Lobengula following the fall of the Ndebele Kingdom in 1893.”
