Herbert Zharare in Algiers, Algeria
President Mugabe met Algerian Prime Minister Mr Abdelmalek Sellal this morning at the state villas where the two leaders discussed among other issues increased cooperation between the two countries.
President Mugabe is here on a three day state visit.
During the meeting Mr Sellal said he was honoured to have discussions with a great statesman and a charismatic leader such as President Mugabe.
The President is expected to meet Algerian leader Mr Abdelaziz Bouteflika
