PRESIDENT Mnangagwa has rallied students studying in Algeria to embody the values of hard work, honesty and unity that are hallmarks of Zimbabwe.

This morning, the President met scores of students who are pursuing different studies here and exhalted them to keep flying the Zimbabwe flag high.

“As you represent your country, I urge you to carry with you the values of hard, honest work, perseverance, and the unity that define us as Zimbabweans, activists that have been acclaimed across the world,” said the President.

“We are encouraged and proud of the fact that we have not heard of any disciplinary challenges amongst you, our students.”

The President got a chance to take pictures with students, with some of them getting selfies.

Algeria has been a Mecca of education for Zimbabwean students since independence in 1980.

The number this year has, however, more than doubled following in the President’s vision of a science and solution-based education.
