President tours AI school

President Mnangagwa is currently touring the prestigious National School of Artificial Intelligence in Algiers.

This elite institution is renowned for attracting the brightest minds from across the African continent, fostering a new generation of innovators and leaders in technology.

During his visit, the President will engage with faculty and students, learning about cutting-edge research and developments in artificial intelligence.

The school’s commitment to excellence not only enhances academic collaboration but also positions Africa at the forefront of the global tech landscape.

This tour highlights Zimbabwe’s interest in advancing its own technological capabilities and exploring partnerships that could benefit both nations in the ever-evolving digital age.

UPDATE :

Students in Algeria urged to fly Zim flag high

PRESIDENT Mnangagwa has rallied students studying in Algeria to embody the values of hard work, honesty and unity that are hallmarks of Zimbabwe.

This morning, the President met scores of students who are pursuing different studies here and exhalted them to keep flying the Zimbabwe flag high.

“As you represent your country, I urge you to carry with you the values of hard, honest work, perseverance, and the unity that define us as Zimbabweans, activists that have been acclaimed across the world,” said the President.

“We are encouraged and proud of the fact that we have not heard of any disciplinary challenges amongst you, our students.”

Algeria has been a Mecca of education for Zimbabwean students since independence in 1980.

This year the number has more than doubled following in the President’s vision of a science and solution-based education.

UPDATE :

Collaboration in agricultural sector unlocked

The President got a chance to take pictures with students, with some of them getting selfies.

President Mnangagwa, who is set to depart Algeria today, is now visiting the National Company of Agricultural and Fishing equipment.

This visit underscores his commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for collaboration in agricultural innovation and sustainable practices.

During his time at the company, President Mnangagwa is expected to engage with local leaders and experts, discussing advancements in agricultural technology and the potential for investment in Zimbabwe’s agricultural sector.

President departs Algeria

President Mnangagwa has left Algeria for Zimbabwe after a successful tour of duty that saw him engaging work businesses, political leaders, pharmaceutical companies, and farm equipment manufacturers.
