Prime Minister launches book in city

media in Zimbabwe.
The MDC-T leader has been at the centre of a storm with regards to his poorly handled marriage to Ms Locadia Karimatsenga Tembo.
In his speech at the Book Café in Harare yesterday, PM Tsvangirai urged Zimbabweans to write their own stories in book form and avoid relying on the media.
“There was a story today that I was involved in an accident.
“I was not even near the scene as one of my staffers had the car and was involved in the accident.
“That is the media for you,” said the PM.
He, however, avoided questions on the latest saga involving his marriage to Ms Tembo.
PM Tsvangirai attributed his book to his late wife Susan and writer William Bango.
Bango, a journalist, was once PM Tsvangirai’s spokesperson.
“The media can tell you what you do not know about yourself . . . but they can never tell what you feel.
“Let us not be told our story by the media, but put it in your own words,” he said.
PM Tsvangirai said he will soon publish another book on the period he worked with President Mugabe in the inclusive government.
