A Chitungwiza-based Prophet Miracle Paul on Saturday has underscored the value of building strong relationships in ministry, confessing his weakness in working together with others.
Prophet Miracle Paul of the New Revelation Ministries expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet various church leaders at the album launch of gospel musician, Bethen Pasinawako.
The album launch not only celebrated Bethen’s musical achievements but also highlighted the significance of unity within the community.
Prophet Miracle Paul’s newfound commitment to collaboration reflects a positive shift in his approach.
“This event has taught me a lesson that working together with others is good and profitable,” said Prophet Miracle.
“If it was not that good working relationship, this event could not be like this.
“Ndadzidza kuti panezvinouya muhupenyu, ngatidzidzei kuita konde konde pachikorekore, kubatsirana nevamwe kuti zviyendeke.
“It has accorded me a chance to meet various church leaders I cannot mention by names; in case I might skip one.
“Baba naMai Ngolomi have good working relationships with others, which I have witnessed today, and I want to do the same.
“Ini ndirimumwe angaasingagare nevamwe zvakanaka asi nhasi mandidzidzisa kuti ukagarazvakanaka nevamwe zvinobatsira,” said Prophet Miracle.
He left guests in stitches when he threatened to ‘expose’ some of the guests including the Ngolomi couple.
Prophet Miracle Paul, real name Tendai Chipara, said he was to expose Bethen by giving her US$10 000 for her Aqua vehicle.
“Regai nditsemure Bethen ne ten thousand United States dollars, which I want them to buy an Aqua vehicle within four days,” he said.
Prophet Miracle Paul told guests that he himself compose and write songs.
He urged Bethen to continue releasing more songs and spread the word to the world.
Bishop Believe Paradise felt challenged by Prophet Miracle Paul’s gift and pledged more.
“I am here because of Prophet Miracle Paul has said about good working relationship with others.
“I knew the Ngolomi couple before I started a church Ministry, they used to assist me with PA system.
“When God raised me, I saw it best to assist them also.
“I wanted them to join my Ministry, but I later learnt that they had decided to look for their church of choice.
“Ndakangoti regandigowona kwazvinosvika asi nhasi ndatenda zvaitwa naProphet Miracle Paul.
“I felt envy and challenged so I am pledging more than what Prophet Miracle Paul has given,” said Bishop Paradise.
He pledged US$10 250.
Rev Musindo, described by Bethen as her mentor and promoter, commended various church denominations for supporting Bethen.
He said a number of promoters neglect gospel musicians there by killing their talents.
“We have a number of gospel artists failing to get support,” said Rev Musindo.
“Bethen is highly talented and has potential to become an international musician.
“We have many local talented gospel musicians that if we fully support them, sooner or later we will forget about promoting foreign artists and treat them like gods.
“I want to emulate Everton Mlalazi, I informed him today about this event, he shelved his plans, led his wife here and supported Bethen.
“We want more Zimbabweans like Everton, Prophet Miracle Paul, Bishop Paradise and many others who came to support,” said Rev Musindo before handing his US$1000 cash promising a residential stand to Bethen.
Everton Mlalazi promised US$15 000 and expressed his passion to promote artists.
“I want to thank Rev Musindo for inviting me to this event.
“As a musician, I feel blessed to plant my seed on this fertile ground as a Seventh Day Adventist member.
“I want Bethen to come and record her songs at my studio for free.
“It is my wish to support fellow artists,” said Everton.
Dreammate Projects headed by Promise Mubaiwa pledged another residential stand worth US$39 000.
The Ndinzverei song hit-maker, Bethen, released her seventh album with seven tracks; Handina Simba, Hold On, Hosanna, Mupenyu Wangu, Mwaka, and Teki Teki.
She felt humbled by a big number of guests who attended the launch that included various church leaders, and she was in tears after receiving gifts.
“I feel humbled by this, God has a message to me,” said Bethen.
“This seventh album has proved to be perfect, and it attracted a number of church leaders and upon their arrival they pronounced a blessing and made some declarations.
“The guests increased in numbers within a short period and the gifts, hey I have no enough words to thank God.
“I want to thank everyone who supported me in this project – various church leaders, artists and local businesspeople for standing with me,” said Bethen.
Her husband and producer, Lyton Ngolomi gave all the glory to the Almighty God.
“I have come to understand that God answer prayers in due season.
“Today I came to understand that God does what He wants at the fulness of time.
“We have experienced the hand of God today by the attendance, gifts and what church leaders have done through God’s grace.
“Glory be to the Almighty God who is faithful and loving,” said Ngolomi.
Album launch supporting artists included Mathias Mhere, Agatha Murudzwa, Mai Patai, Rumbi Zvirikuzhe, Gift Mahlupeka and Chitungwiza upcoming gospel artists.
