The Prospect Lithium Zimbabwe is initiating life-changing projects in Goromonzi, newly appointed Minister of State for Mashonaland East Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Itayi Ndudzo has said.
Speaking during VP Mohadi’s tour of the mine this morning, Minister Ndudzo said the mining company’s initiatives are benefiting the province and the nation at large.
“We gather here not only to witness the remarkable advancement in lithium mining, but also to reflect on the broader potential of our province’s rich mineral endowments, which include gold in different districts and granite in
Mutoko, among other mineral resources.
“These resources are pivotal to our national development and are integral to the aspirations outlined in Vision 2030,” he said.
Minister Ndudzo said the improvement of the Goromonzi road network through an 8km road project enhances accessibility for local communities, thereby fostering greater connectivity and boosting economic activity.
“In addition to these initiatives, Prospect Lithium Zimbabwe is actively engaged in various corporate social responsibility activities.
“These efforts reflect a deep commitment to the well-being of the community in which they operate,” he said.
