A number of Premier Soccer League clubs are expected to conduct Covid-19 tests on Wednesday morning and resume training thereafter.
This follows the Government’s green light to have all sporting activities return.

The top-flight clubs are expected to continue with the Chibuku Super Cup matches at the end of this month.

Yesterday CAPS United and Tenax said all is set for the Covid-19 testing routine.

CAPS United official, Morton Dodzo, said their players have regrouped ahead of the resumption of football in this country.

“We will conduct our club tests tomorrow (Wednesday). Our players have regrouped and we have been working on some internal issues.

“If our results come out and the players are healthy, we will start our training soon after the tests. We have put everything in place,” Dodzo said.

Tenax team manager, Lloyd Chinawa, said some of their players are still making their way to Mutare.

“We are hopeful that by end of today everyone will have reported for duty and we will carry out our Covid-19 tests tomorrow (Wednesday). We should start training once we are done with the tests,” Chinawa said.
