BULAWAYO’S football giants are heading into a weekend of sweat, stress and serious survival as Week 10 of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League explodes into life!

It is pressure, pressure everywhere as Chicken Inn FC, Highlanders FC and Bulawayo Chiefs FC brace for brutal battles that could shape their seasons.

All eyes swing to Barbourfields Stadium where Chicken Inn FC are walking into a storm against Dynamos FC on Sunday.

The Gamecocks are wounded.

First came that painful 3-1 derby collapse against Bosso after leading. Then a flat 2-0 loss to Chiefs. Now, the heat is on and it is burning.

Head coach Tonderai Ndiraya is not hiding.

“We are Chicken Inn. We will bounce back and defend the badge,” he declared.

But talk is cheap when your defence is leaking. Dynamos are coming in hungry after grinding out a result against Scottland FC, and they will not show mercy.

Meanwhile in Harare, Highlanders FC have their own headache.

Bosso face bogey side Herentals College FC at Rufaro Stadium, a team that has turned into their worst nightmare in recent meetings.

Yes, Highlanders are still smiling after derby glory, but that shock defeat to CAPS United FC still stings.

Can Bosso finally break the jinx or is another heartbreak loading?

Then comes the biggest mountain of them all.

Bulawayo Chiefs FC are charging straight into the lion’s den against red-hot log leaders CAPS United FC.

CAPS are flying. Ruthless. Relentless. A machine in full motion.

Chiefs, led by Coach John Nyikadzino, are confident after derby success, but this is a whole different beast.

“This will be another tricky fixture away from home. We are hopeful we will get the result that we desire,” said Nyikadzino.

Three teams. Three wars. No hiding place.
