The game ended prematurely after the hosts were awarded a penalty kick in the 90th minute when the visitors’ player was adjudged to have blocked a goal-bound effort with his hand.

In a statement today, the PSL said both clubs will also be asked to submit written reports on the incident.

“We await the match commissioner and referees reports on this matter for determination in accordance with the PSL rules and regulations. Furthermore, both clubs will be requested to submit written reports on the events that transpired,” said the PSL.

The PSL said it will issue no further statement until it receives all relevant match reports.
