HOTEL group, Rainbow Tourism Group (RTG), will be launching its “rainbow inspirations series” programme in Bulawayo tomorrow in a move aimed at stimulating socio-economic development in the city.
“Rainbow Inspirations Series is a discussion platform where identified local and regional key speakers will deliver star topics, which stimulate engagement in constructive socio-economic, topical and contemporary issues affecting people’s daily lives,” the group said in a notice yesterday.
The star topic for the inaugural event, ‘Writing your will and protecting your wealth for future generations’ will be presented by renowned Harare lawyer, pastor, and newspaper columnist, Davison Kanokanga.
“This topic was covered in Harare in June 2015, and was a resounding success. We had a full house and the audience was left asking for more at the end of the seminar. Bulawayo is a key market in our business hence the decision to launch the platform here. We encourage people to come out in their numbers on Saturday,” Pride Khumbula, the group’s corporate communications and innovations manager said.
Recently RTG launched RTG online auctions which allow customers to bid, win and pay for accommodation, conferencing and banqueting packages online at very affordable prices.
The RTG online auctions concept, which is a first in Zimbabwe, was developed from the need to deliver solutions to customers’ expressed and implied needs such as choice, convenience, affordability and experiential transactions, which can only be realised through product and process innovation.
Currently the RTG online auctions platform is generating a lot of interest from the local holiday makers and Zimbabweans in the Diaspora, who have found the platform convenient and affordable.
