Rapist, who raped his cousin for five years, gets six years in jail

A 20-year-old man has been sentenced to six years imprisonment for raping his cousin.

Their fathers are twins.

The court heard that the first violation occurred in 2016, when he was 14, and the girl was eight.

He continued raping her up to 2021 when the girl, who had turned 13 then, refused to continue being ciolated.

She told him that she was now old enough to know that he was abusing her.

The girl developed a problem of wetting her bed.

And, when her mother asked her on July 5 last year why she was still urinating in bed, she revealed that she had been raped for years by her cousin.

A police report was filed.
