Thank you for bringing this topic (issue of uniforms in churches) to the public. It has always been a bone of contention especially in traditional churches. It’s even worse if you are a single mom like me. As a Catholic, it’s not easy entering such guilds. I believe the heart of the person is what is important.
But at times if you are not a member of a guild, it’s difficult to be recognised. I think it’s better to be active in church activities and participate as a member. The guilds can be a source of division. This needs to be discussed in the church. All the best and I can’t wait to receive more — Catholic member.
