MANICA Diamonds and Dynamos this afternoon breathed a sigh of relief in their battle against relegation, securing vital victories in Castle Lager Premiership matches against TelOne and MWOS, respectively.

Both teams registered identical 1-0 wins, injecting momentum into their campaigns to escape the dreaded chop of relegation.
Manica Diamonds’ victory at Bata Stadium marked their first win in five games, and only their fifth overall in 23 matches.
This crucial result lifted them out of the relegation zone, propelling them to 13th position with 26 points, pending Bikita Minerals’ outcome against CAPS United tomorrow (Sunday).
Meanwhile, at Rufaro Stadium, Dynamos fans erupted in jubilation as their team secured only their third win of the season in 24 matches.
Temptation Chiwunga scored the decisive goal from the penalty spot, 15 minutes from time, condemning MWOS to their third loss in five games.
Dynamos remain second from bottom with 19 points.
