THE murder weapon used to kill Khangelani Nkiwane last week by her live-in boyfriend Oscar Khumalo has been found in a bushy area in Pumula.

The gun was found by a resident who later informed the police.

Bulawayo provincial Inspector Abednico Ncube said they are appealing to members of the public to come forward should they see Khumalo anywhere.

“We are still looking for Khumalo and are appealing to members of the public to come forward should they have information about his whereabouts. We would like to urge all men in Bulawayo to not resort to violence when solving disputes but rather to look for a third person to intervene,” he said.

Khumalo shot his live-in girlfriend three times last week at a house they were renting using a work pistol before running away.

Nkiwane later died at Mpilo Central Hospital due to the injuries sustained.
