Revellers spoilt for choice

The artiste, who gained fame with his two albums — “NdiMwari” and “Ishe Wazvose” — is expected to show music lovers that he is not a fluke and why he deserves to be one of the leading gospel musicians in the country at the moment when he sings for a worthy cause.
Dubbed “Gospel Explosion Family Fun Day”, the show is aimed at raising funds to buy instruments for a new church, Disciples for Christ Church in Africa.
John Chintali, the chairman of the events committee, urged gospel lovers to support the show.
“We are promising fireworks and we are appealing to people to come and support this worthy cause since we are a new church.
“We are happy to be working with Blessing Shumba on the day and those who love his music should know what to expect,” he said.
Leonard Zhakata — Club Changaz
Zora music exponent Leonard Zhakata this week heads to Centenary where he entertains patrons at Club Changaz tomorrow night.
The suave lyricist is expected to songs from his album “Gotwe” as well as the hits from yesteryear that made him a household name. The gig will be a precursor to Suluman Chimbetu’s show pencilled in for July 28.

Dendera musician Douglas Chimbetu will tonight invade City Sports Bar for his first-ever show in his own right at the joint. The young artiste has been on a steady rise ever since he went separate ways with dad Allan and he will use show to prove that he has now stepped out of his father’s shadow.
