A Masvingo-based gospel outfit, Revival Echoes, will today ignite Alliance Francaise when they launch their nine-track debut album entitled “Munamato Wedu/ Our Prayer”.
The ensemble, has done quite well musically and for them, music is not just a mere talent or hobby but it is a calling to be a voice to the nations. They will be in the capital for other shows when they will take the opportunity to launch their album at what promises to be an exciting occasion.

The album was produced by Artisan Studios.

Simbarashe Mukwacha, the band publicist said: “This album is filled with a deep understanding of scriptures in the lyrics and rich rhythms that are unique and yet related.

“Revival Echoes bring a message of hope and belief to the listener which is filled with emotion and energy”.

Very versatile and dynamic, the album explores various music styles and definitely resonates with many as a deeply thought and carefully arranged product.

The music includes salsa, traditional, jazz, sungura and afro-jazz styles, catering for the different music preferences of the listeners in one grand package.

Not only does the album explore faith and belief, but it also tackles social issues faced by many on a daily basis.

The individual band members have always been active in the music ministry especially in Masvingo and are taking their God given gifts to a higher level.

The album is expected to take the group to another level as they reckon they are a force on the local gospel scene.
