PEOPLE have called for the revoking of licences of the Rimbi bus and Zebra Kiss drivers for racing for passengers resulting in a fatal road accident.
The Zebra Kiss bus blocked the Rimbi bus from overtaking, and the Rimbi bus hit a Tipper’s loading box. People reacted angrily to the accident, and blasted both drivers for negligence. Some people demanded that the bus drivers’ licences should be revoked.

The bus driver in front was well aware of the situation. He too should be apportioned some blame. There were no potholes so he wasn’t supposed to block the other bus from overtaking. Knowing very well the distance between him and the bus behind, he was supposed to put on hazards to warn the bus behind. He should have also overtaken the stationary Tipper truck much earlier to allow the Rimbi bus to see the danger. Both drivers were wrong. Hauchekerese vanhu just to prove a point. – Lorriet Muguti.

The three drivers should have their licences revoked for they are a danger to society. Lorry driver for having no triangle reflectors when your lorry has stopped in the middle of the road. Zebra Kiss driver should also be banned for blocking others and not practicing defensive rules while driving public bus. Rimbi driver for speeding; if there are any deaths, then all should answer for culpable homicide. – Ngoni Tsuro.
