REVOLT IN UGANDA, STADIUM CONTROVERSY IN NIGERIA

H-Metro Reporter

FOOTBALL and administrative challenges appear to be Siamese twins in Africa.

It’s not only here in Zimbabwe where the issues, which happen in the game’s corridors of power, are dominating the headlines.

In Uganda, there is a campaign to get rid of the president of the country’s football federation, Moses Magogo.

He was re-elected two years ago and is meant to serve until 2025.

But, ‘Magogo Out’ fliers have emerged in what is a campaign to push him out of office.

In Nigeria, the game is dealing with the poor state of their National Stadium in Surulere despite US$1 million injected for its facelift.
