BLACK Rhinos remain unbeaten at Rimuka but they will see this as two points dropped rather than one won after a goalless draw in their Castle Lager Premier League tie against Black Mambas yesterday. The home side were their worst enemies as they fluffed a number of chances that came their way and a point was not good enough in their battle against relegation.
However, Rhinos coach, Arthur Tutani, decided to see the positive side.

“A point gained is better than a defeat and I am optimistic that we will continue collecting as many points as possible,” said Tutani.
“Our visitors played well and I respect them for their fighting spirit. It was a game of two halves in which they dominated in the first segment and we also did in the last half.

“I must admit that the strikers did not carry their scoring boots as they could have bagged home more than three goals. Anyway, the game wasn’t that bad and we need to improve on certain areas upfront.”

Mambas assistant coach, Martin Bonongw, also said his team could have done better with a sharper strike force. “In as much as we would have liked to win this game, I am happy that the boys did not concede, we are still in the relegation zone,” said Bonyongwe.

Veteran striker Gilbert Mushangazhike thought he had scored in the 26th minute but his close range flicker, following a Phillip Marufu left flank delivery, narrowly missed the target with the visitors’ ‘keeper Tonderai Mateyaunga a beaten man.
