The concert is being sponsored by St Eve Concepts, a wellness and enzymatic weight management company in West Africa.
The news of Rick Ross’ headlining performance at Summer Jam Fest 2012 comes just a week after the rap star was sued by a different Nigerian promoter, for skipping out on last year’s festival, due to “security concerns”.

Miami rapper Flo Rida has been hit with a six-figure lawsuit, over a cancelled Canadian concert last year. According to the lawsuit, Flo Rida was supposed to perform 10 shows last year, from July 3-12.
The lawsuit, which was filed by the Spin Artist Agency (SAA), claims that Flo Rida failed to show up to any of the shows. Now, the rapper is being sued for US$200 000 for breach of contract. SAA claims Flo Rida made them lose over US$200 000 in ticket sales, concession and alcohol sales. Flo Rida’s representatives have not responded to the lawsuit.
Philadelphia native DOMkey was the winner of Red Bull BC One North American Qualifier on July 22 in Chicago, at the Aragon Centre. After four rounds of one-on-one breakdancing, DOMkey edged out the 15 other finalists in front of thousands of spectators. DOMkey will represent North America during the Red Bull BC One World Finals in Rio de Janeiro this December. “It feels great, I always kind of doubt myself because I am my hardest critic.
