Rights commissioner Neseni dies

Justice and Legal Affairs Mr Maxwell Ranga said the Ministry was grieved by the death.
“The Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs has learnt with all deep sorrow and sadness the death of Commissioner Nomathemba Neseni,” said Mr Ranga in a statement last night.
“Her death has created a vacuum in the operations of the Human Rights Commission and it is sad to note that she passed away when the Zimbabwe Human Rights Bill had just been passed by both Houses in Parliament.”
Comm Neseni will be buried today at Warren Hills Cemetery at 11am.
The commissioner was appointed into office by President Mugabe on March 30 this year together with seven others.
