THE road to Miss Tourism Zimbabwe (MTZ) reality show premieres on ZBCtv tomorrow with the finalists’ activities being featured ahead of the grand finale next Friday.

The reality show produced by Daysman Production House and presented by Rebecca Muchenje will hit the silver screen at 9.30PM. It will be shown every Sunday for the next two months and has 13 episodes.

Miss Tourism Zimbabwe spokesperson Alson Darikayi said they had hoped to have the programme broadcast weeks ago, but could not do so as they faced challenges along the way.

“Ideally we wanted to flight the programme earlier as a build up to the grand finale that will be broadcast live from the Harare International Conference Centre. However, due to challenges beyond our control, we couldn’t flight it earlier,” said Darikayi.

Despite the delay, the pageant organisers are upbeat and confident that people will enjoy the run up to the event. “The show is captivating, you certainly won’t want to miss an episode.”

Turning to preparations for the final, Darikayi said tickets were now available with standard entry pegged at $10 and VIP $50.

Those in Bulawayo can buy tickets at the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority offices.

Unfortunately, VVIP tickets will not be sold as it is being reserved for the MTZ patron — Barbara Mzembi’s invited guests.
