Robbers hit Buhera shop

FIVE unknown armed robbers last Friday pounced on a Buhera shop and stole cash and goods valued at $1 700.The incident happened at Bangure Business Centre in Chief Nyashanu’s area.

The suspects, who were armed with a pistol, button stick and a knife heavily assaulted a shop attendant, Chipo Dzapasi (41) and her daughter, Bridget Makapire before disappearing with $1 100 cash, three Samsung and Nokia mobile phones as well as $335 NetOne airtime recharge cards.

Police said they had launched a manhunt for the suspects.
