Robbers raid Fawcett crew

DETECTIVES in Chipinge are investigating an armed robbery case in which seven suspects raided a Fawcett Security Company premises at Checheche Growth Point and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police confirmed the robbery which happened on June 2.

The suspects raided the security company at around 7pm soon after the cash-in-transit team had brought cash collections from Gains Wholesale, Mukuru Financial Services, N Richards and Agribank.

The team had collected US$6 583, 32 110 rands and $11 937 from Gains Wholesale and undisclosed amount of cash from Mukuru.
