Rufaro opens its doors to City Cubs

HARARE City Cubs coach, Kevin Togaraseyi, believes his troops are ready to collect their third victory of the season when they welcome CAM & Motor at Rufaro tomorrow.

The ZIFA Northern Region Division One Soccer League officials told H-Metro they are convinced the venue is good enough for the league’s fixtures.

The Harare City developmental side have just recorded two victories in 20 attempts.

CAM & Motor are at the basement of the standings having managed just one win.

“We are ready for the game, the boys are showing a positive attitude towards the game.

“It’s unfortunate that we haven’t been at our best but we are counting on this fixture, it should be our turning point.

“We know it’s a basement clash and each side needs this win to turn things around, we are going to give our best fight,” said Togaraseyi.

Pacesetters, Herentals Under-20, who were not in action last weekend, are set to be hosted by Curthberth Malajila’s CUMA Academy, this afternoon, at Rimuka.

Malajila’s side are coming from a 1-0 win over CAM & Motor.

It was their first victory in their past five assignments.

Gilbert Mushangazhike’s Eagles are slated to welcome Come Again at Ellis Robins.

Mushangazhike’s men are three points behind the leaders.

Karoi United are set to welcome Leo Kurauzvione’s Golden Valley at Chikangwe to-morrow.

Simba Bhora, who are just three points off the mark, are scheduled to entertain Trojan Stars, at Wadzanai.

Stewart “Shutto” Murisa’s Banket United sit third from the bottom on the log.

Murisa is hoping to register his second win since taking charge when they host PAM.
