SOUTH Africa-based gospel artist, LG Wenyasha, says she sees the hand of God after settling well across the Limpopo.
A chef by profession, the songbird said her job has also enabled her to create more synergies.
And being one of the several Zimbabwean artists based in South Africa, she believes it’s high time she thanks God for His grace.
She will be celebrating God’s grace with a new album titled Pemberera, which will be launched online on Friday.
Fellow artists, Obert Chari, Benson Magogo and Benny Muzanamombe, will support her during her online launch.
“My forthcoming album Pemberera is laden with thanksgiving songs.
“We are celebrating God’s love for what He (God) has done for me.
“I’m glad to have settled well in South Africa through his grace,” she said.
LG Wenyasha hailed Gibson Makumbe for the successful production.
“I worked with Makumbe, who has been there for me from day one.
“I am happy that everything went according to plan.
“I am happy that God has blessed me beyond words,” she added.
Born Locadia Gwengi in a family of 12, LG Wenyasha grew up in Masvingo.
She did both her primary and secondary education in Masvingo and moved to South Africa in 2008.
She is currently in demand in South Africa where she has featured in high profile church conferences and gospel festivals.
In her message of hope to Zimbabweans, she said:
“We need to have faith in God and honour Him all the time since He is the provider and protector.
“God has never failed us and as such, we need to always praise His name.
“God can work wonders if we continue dwelling in his teachings.”
