TWO teenagers, who were part of a four-member gang involved in an armed robbery last month, appeared in court over the weekend.

Tanatswa Magoneko, (19) and Biton Chabvuka, (18) both of Hopley,  as well as Marlon Dzokurasa and Farai Mazusa, both aged (22)appeared before Harare magistrate Dennis Mangosi.

They were remanded to tomorrow for bail considerations.

The court heard that on November 21, the gang blocked the complainant’s vehicle by standing in front of it in St Peters Road, Glen Norah.

One of the gang members forced open the door and produced a knife which he used to threaten the complainant.

The other three entered the car and dragged the driver to the back, and one of them took over the steering.

They drove around and assaulted the complainant demanding money.

They searched him and stole US$185 from his pockets as well as an iPhone and a Wi-Fi router.

They also stole his wallet that had other valuables.

They dumped the complainant at a football pitch and drove away in his vehicle which they later dumped along Bulawayo Road after being involved in an accident.
