SA gospel divas for Judgement Night

Harare Bureau
Top South African gospel divas Deborah Fraser and Hlengiwe Mhlaba will be performing at the much-hyped Judgement Night 2 prayer session to be held at the National Sports Stadium in Harare on Saturday.
Organisers of the event, United Family International Church (UFIC) said they were hosting the artistes to bring a different flavour to the event.
“We realised that there was a need to incorporate regional artistes to add glamour to the event and that is why we roped the South African acts in. We are expecting the two to jet into the country on Saturday morning.

“We are encouraging people to come in their numbers to have a worship experience with God,” said UFIC spokesperson, Pastor Prime Kufakunesu.
Other artistes who will perform on the night include Joyce Simeti, Gospel Power, Leonard Zhakata, Pastor Charles and Olivia Charamba and Pastor Hubert C.
In a telephone interview, Mhlaba said she was excited about the night and promised to thrill her fans.

“I feel honoured to perform at such a huge event and I promise to offer an annointed act. Zimbabwe is my second home. I want us to worship and thank God for all He has been doing in Zimbabwe,” she said.

Mhlaba said she was also coming to the country as a spiritual daughter of Prophet Emmanuel and Ruth Makandiwa, apart from coming as a guest artiste. She has collaborated with many other gospel artistes including Sipho Makhabane, Vuyo Mokoena, Ntokozo Mbambo and Joyous Celebration.

Award-winning singer Fraser is popular locally for her hit debut album Abanye Bayombona and her second one titled Udlalile Ngabantu.
Her popular tracks include Uma Kungenxa and Umvuselelo.
