Yesterday, he admitted he will make a decision “in March or April”, with the board fearing he will quit in the summer.
But title-winning keeper Lehmann told talkSPORT: “If he wants to extend his contract, he should do it now so everybody is clear what is going on.
“If not, he also has to make his decision now.”
Bayern’s legendary former keeper Oliver Kahn also stuck the boot in and said: “Bayern played a team so catastrophically bad without the ball.
“It’s as if they don’t take the coach seriously any more.”
Wenger was asked on Australian TV if he felt humiliated by the defeat.
The Frenchman said: “What’s important is not me. It is difficult to swallow the result. We have to keep our strength and respond in the next game.”
Former Highbury striker Alan Smith also insisted Arsenal’s longest-serving manager should announce his resignation now.
Smith told Sky Sports: “If he announced tomorrow he was stepping down after the season, he would then be revered as the legend he is at the club.
“That toxic atmosphere would go in a heartbeat.”
Sanchez was seen screaming at a number of team-mates — including Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain — during the Allianz Arena annihilation. – The Sun.
