ATHLETES at the ongoing SARPCCO Games showcased their diverse cultures here on Sunday evening.

The cultural show featured the eight participating countries’ traditional attires, vernacular languages and traditional dancing.

Zimbabwe’s selected cultural team wowed guests with their traditional dance moves to the legendary ‘Mhondoro Dzinonwa MunaSave’ song.

Some participants couldn’t hold back and joined the Zimbabwe group on stage, to try some of the nimble-footed, dance moves.

SARPCCO chairperson’s representative, Namibia Commissioner Monaliza Molebugi, and senior Tanzanian police officers, graced the show.

Comm Molebugi urged participants to continue exchanging notes and to guard and maintain their cultural values.

“As participants, continue to maintain your cultural values, share ideas and bridge language barriers as Africans.

“Exchange notes, come to understand one another.

“Let Africa unite against transnational organised crimes,” she said.
