N’ombeyawora head coach, Nesbert ‘Yabo’ Saruchera, has been named the Supafix Coach of the Month for August making it the third time this season.
He has won the most awards.
This impressive feat is a reflection of his team’s dominance, with N’ombeyawora currently leading the league table by two points ahead of Agama.
Under Saruchera’s guidance, N’ombeyawora has been on a remarkable run, leading the Northern Region Soccer League for the better part of the season so far.
Despite Agama’s strong challenge, N’ombeyawora has maintained its lead.
As N’ombeyawora look to continue their stay at the top, the team will face a tough test today as they host Ali Sundowns in a Mabvuku derby at the Heart Stadium.
Meanwhile, Agama will be traveling away to face Golden Eagles in a crucial match that could impact the title race.
In other Supafix awards, Clifton Chisveta of Golden Eagles was named Player of the Month, while Allan Morris of Zambezi G&C took home the Goalkeeper of the Month award.
Simon Grey Kufandada of Agama was recognised as the Top Goal Scorer of the Month with five goals.
Saruchera was grateful for the honour awarded to him and said he is expecting more for his side.
“More awards are going to come our way as we are destined for greatness. But as N’ombeyawora family we are very happy and looking forward to having more awards.
“The award is a great motivation to the club, it shows our intentions and what we want to achieve this season.
On their match against Ali Sundowns, Saruchera said they are going to play for maximum points.
“But we are focused on our match against Ali Sundowns. It’s not going to be easy, but we are going to collect three points,” he said.
