School head in court for abusing pupil

Akino (58) appeared before Harare magistrate Mr Don Ndirowei, who remanded him out of custody to April 5 this year.
Prosecutor Mr Innocent Chingarande alleges that on February 8 at around 0800hrs the girl arrived late at school after being dropped by her mother.
The girl, on her way to the classroom, allegedly met the headmaster, who asked her to leave the school premises.  But her teacher took her to class. On March 5 the girl was late again, arriving at school late around 0740hrs.
Akino allegedly called her and told her to sit where other children were gathered.
It is alleged he let the other pupils go to their respective classes leaving the complainant alone.
Akino, it is alleged, started laughing at the girl saying she was not a normal person before leaving her.
The girl’s teacher took her to her class.
On the same day Akino at around 12pm had a transfer letter processed indicating that the complainant had been transferred with effect from March 5.
On March 8 this year the complainant met Akino in the school grounds. He allegedly told her that she had been transferred and she was not supposed to be at the school.
The following day at around 0800hrs during the school assembly Akino, it is alleged, told other pupils that the complainant was one of the rude pupils.
Soon after assembly he allegedly told her to sit outside his office while it was raining.
