The concert was well attended as youths from various areas in the city came in their numbers to catch a glimpse of their favourite artistes performing.
Speaking to Chronicle Entertainment after the event, Antivirus Crew member Prince “Papi” Dube said that they were happy about the number of people who came to support the concert.
“We are happy about the number of people who came to the event which shows that people in Bulawayo support local artistes. We are just overwhelmed by the amount of support that the concert has received,” said Dube.
He said that they hoped that the concert had achieved its objective of showing people that music, and dance in particular, can be successfully followed as a career path.
“Our objective from the start was to show people that music can be pursued as a career path because some people in Bulawayo think that music is not a viable career option,” said Dube.
He said they were thankful to the young people of Bulawayo for the massive support that they received as it meant that the dance crew was steadily growing as a brand.
“We are very happy about the support of the fans because they are the ones who are putting the dance crew on the map and due to their support we are earning recognition in the industry,” said Dube.
He said that they hoped that the concert was the first of many as they were looking to make it an annual event.
Performers who graced the stage included Kasi Lunatics, all female dance crew H-3 and Antivirus Dance Crew themselves who electrified the crowd with their gravity-defying dance moves.
