THOUSANDS of congregants of the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church in Zimbabwe on Sunday started treking back to their homes after a week long camp meeting in Nyamandlovu, Matabeleland North Province.

Convoys of vehicles started making their way from the camp site headed into the city along the Nyamandlovu/Bulawayo Road as early as 8am.

Some of the vehicles turned into Cowdary Park while others proceeded towards suburbs such as Emakhandeni, Njube, Luveve, Richmond, Lobengula among other places.

The Nyamandlovu gathering falls under the Zimbabwe West Union Conference, one of three Unions in the country overseeing six other conferences, each with roughly 100 000 members.
