Secretaries honoured

Ndlovu, said Secretaries Day also known as the Administrative Professionals Day was one of the largest workplace commemorations.
“This day is set aside to recognise the work of secretaries, administrative assistants and receptionists for their growing and diverse contributions to the workplace.”
The commemorations were held under the theme; “Equipped for the task, ready to achieve.”
“As secretaries or administrative professionals, you are one of the most important groups of professionals to exist in any organisation and without you all businesses and institutions would catch a cold. Learning is continuous, the establishment of more universities in the country is in itself an opportunity that should be exploited without any hesitation because it will certainly bear fruits in the future,” she said.
Sheron Makotore of Dairibord Holdings was honoured as 2012 Secretary of The Year.
