Serial criminal arrested in Byo

Police in Bulawayo have arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with a series of violent crimes, some of which include carjacking, murder, attempted murder and armed robbery, particularly in Cowdray Park suburb.

Bulawayo Province police spokesperson Inspector Nomalanga Msebele confirmed the arrest of Mkhululi Moyo, whose alleged crimes spread as far as Tsholotsho.

She said Moyo was implicated by an accomplice, Ndumiso Nxumalo, who implicated Moyo as an accomplice, as well as Themba Moyo, who is still at large.

“On the 30th of July 2025 at around 0800 hours, Bulawayo Police received information from ZRP Tsholotsho to the effect that they had arrested Ndumiso Nxumalo, a male adult aged 25 years of Cowdray Park, Bulawayo, who was involved in a spate of robberies in the Cowdray Park area. The accused person was interviewed and he implicated his friend Themba Moyo, who is still at large and

Mkhululi Moyo as his accomplices,” said Insp Msebele.
She said Nxumalo then led police detectives to a cellphone dealer in Bulawayo, where several phones were recovered.

Insp Ncube said the suspects allegedly robbed several people, including elderly people, of their belongings.
