TWO men were left nursing stab wounds after seven knife-wielding robbers pounced on them in Bulawayo at night and robbed them of cash and cellphones worth US$260.

The gang allegedly struck at the intersection of Lobengula Street and Third Avenue at around 9pm on October 21, 2026, as the victims, aged 28 and 32, walked from Amakhosi Garage along Lobengula Street.

According to police, the two men were confronted by seven unidentified suspects armed with knives.

The robbers allegedly assaulted the victims with the weapons while some searched them for valuables before fleeing with the cash and cellphones.

Both men sustained head lacerations and stab wounds during the attack.

Nothing has been recovered, and police are appealing for information that could lead to the suspects’ arrest.

Bulawayo police spokesperson Inspector Nomalanga Msebele urged anyone with information to report to their nearest police station.

“Anyone with information that may assist in identifying and arresting the suspects should report to their nearest police station,” said Inspector Msebele.
